“Developing Afrinolly on Windows 8 has been an experience that was both challenging and interesting,” said Bobola Oniwura, Afrinolly spokesperson.

Afrinolly has been around for a while now and has more than 2.5-million downloads across various platforms: Android, BlackBerry, iOS, Nokia Symbian, Nokia S40 and Java. The company is poised to become a formidable competitor in the Nigeria entertainment consumption industry currently bringing Nollywood to people, especially Nigerians in the diaspora. What makes Afrinolly different is that it offers more than just Nollywood entertainment and does not just simply target the diaspora.

“We are excited that more Africans with taste for the super smart devices will enjoy using the app on their Windows Phone and Windows 8 PCs,” says the company.
