Los Angeles Judge Revokes Chris Brown's Probation

Singing Chris Brown has had his probation revoked by a Los Angeles County judge. Brown was in court Monday after the L.A. County district attorney filed a motion to revoke Brown's probation following an alleged hit-and-run. Brown is currently serving five years probation, his strictest punishment for having violently beating then-girlfriend Rihanna in 2009 and leaving her on the side of the road.

According to Celebuzz, L.A. City Attorney's Office spokesperson Jane Robison says that Brown was not taken into custody, but released on his own recognizance. He will be back in court Aug. 16 when a judge will set a date for a probation violation hearing. If a judge decides that Brown did violate his probation, he faces up to four years in jail.

Brown is accused of leaving the scene of an accident without showing a valid California driver's license. Brown has denied the claims. However, in a police statement obtained by Celebuzz, Olga Gure-Kovalenko, the woman accusing Brown of a hit-and-run, alleges at the scene he called her a "b***h" and screamed "I got more money than you."
