Samsung Galaxy Note 3 To Hit U.S. Shelves In October

 
Samsung said on Friday its newly launched Galaxy Note 3 phablet will go on sale from October in the U.S. market. It will be made available on AT&T, T-Mobile, Sprint, Verizon and U.S. Cellular. Some may carry its Galaxy Gear smartwatch too.

Amazon, Best Buy, Wal-Mart, RadioShack and other major retailers will also be selling both the devices.

The South Korean giant unveiled Galaxy Note 3 and Galaxy Gear on Wednesday at the IFA electronics trade show in Berlin. The first product is next version of its successful Note series and the second is a new gadget from the stable of Samsung. It is a smartwatch that allows checking on messages, emails or making phone calls without taking out a smartphone from the pocket or bag.

Galaxy Gear will be available in oatmeal beige, jet black, wild orange, rose gold, mocha gray and lime green colors.

AT&T has priced tagged the Galaxy Note 3 for $299.99 under a two-year contract scheme, or for $35 monthly installment on its Next plan. The shipping is to start from October 1.

T-Mobile has priced tagged the phone for $199.99 down payment and thereafter a monthly payment of $21 for two years is to be paid.

The U.S. Cellular has also meanwhile confirmed of selling the phone in October. It has not yet disclosed the price.

Note 3 will be made available in classic white and jet black colors.
