Beyonce, Drake, Timberlake & Others Speak Out On The Tragic Killings Of Black People

Following the shootings of Alton Sterling and Philando Castile, Celebrities such as Zendaya, Chris Brown, Beyoncé, Don Cheadle, and Amandla Stenberg, Justin Timberlake has also since spoken out about unnecessary violence inflicted upon the black community.

Beyoncé recently penned an open letter urging political action be taken against the tragic killings. In a post titled “Freedom” on her website, the singer begs society to “stop killing us” and explains why black lives truly matter.

Sterling was killed in Louisiana by two white police officers on Tuesday (July 5, 2016) after an anonymous caller reported that there was an alleged gunman outside a convenience store. On Wednesday (July 6, 2016), Philando Castile was fatally shot as he was reaching for his wallet during a traffic stop in Minnesota.

Beyoncé’s note comes after Drake’s response to the shootings, in which the rapper condemned police brutality against people of color. Checkout Below some of their messages...
