XA Style Spotlight: 5 Most Stylish & Well Dressed African Male Celebrities 2016

Red carpet events are predictable affairs – and we don’t just mean the tailoring. Browse any major event coverage online and most appearance are all of familiar female faces. But what about the men who although not front-page news are every bit as fashionable? Here, we introduce Five of the most stylish, and their styling tricks worth tapping:

Meant No Disrespect to other fashionable Africans, especially those who indeed spend much just for their good looking and wears. Picks today only cut across Three (3) African parts which include the West, South and East.

Believe it or not, all the picks are judged based on their appearance and how creative they all put on their wears not by how expensive their luxury labels are. Arguably, these Five(5) are the best when it comes to fashion.

NB: This is not a rating but pick base on my personal interest and evaluation. Enjoy!

1. Theo Kgosinkwe (South Africa)
The SouthAfrican Song Composer, who is one of the member of popular group Mafikizolo, is quite the fashion aficionado. He manages to be classic, tailored, with a side of fun and whimsy. This you can see with every different outfit that he has on. Theo is quite the artist and it transcends from music all the way to his clothing.  I am particularly impressed with the Masai infused ornaments that he decides to add to his outfits. It takes and gives the outfit life and direction.

2. Uti Nwachukwu (Nigeria)

Uti is a Nigerian Award Winning Actor and TV Presenter, and Model. He was the 25-year-old representative from Nigeria in Big Brother Africa 3. He became the third evictee of Big Brother Africa 3 house on 5 October 2008 (Day 42). As headline-grabbing as his Menswear designs are, his personal style i think deserves some spotlighting. Like his work, this man’s wardrobe is mostly Full of luxury labels Suits and I'm not complaining.

3. Jamal Gaddafi (Kenya)

Jamal Gaddafi is a celebrated news presenter who rose to fame after winning KTN's reality show 'The Presenter' and now hosts a music show dubbed 'Mzuqa. The newest celebrity dad is always dope on both casual wears and while rocking suits alongside his stylish shoes.

4. Zeddie Loky (Kenya)
Zeddie Loky is one of the dynamic  Kenyan duo behind the Blackbird Jeans brand. They make colorful menswear with an African inspired aesthetic. The designer is always seen with his hat and also found of his cloths colour combinations.
